Hexagon Moss Wall Clock Made of Reindeer Moss

The hexagon moss wall clock integrates natural preserved texture with functional timekeeping. Built inside a geometric hexagonal timber frame, the dial face contains dense reindeer moss (Iceland moss) preserved through a natural glycerin process. This preservation replaces internal sap, keeping the plant soft, flexible, and completely maintenance-free over years of indoor display. It does not require water, soil, sunlight, or pruning. The moss also acts as a subtle acoustic baffle, dampening ambient high-frequency sound waves across residential or office walls.

Time is displayed across the textured moss face using clear hour markers and minimalist metal hands, including a contrasting red sweep second hand. A silent quartz movement powers the clockwork mechanism without the rhythmic clicking typical of conventional analog units. This silent sweep makes the timepiece well suited for sound-sensitive environments such as bedrooms, private libraries, and home workstations. Each wall clock arrives ready to hang via an integrated rear mounting bracket.

Solid Wood Construction and Finish Options

Every hexagonal housing is constructed from natural solid wood, machined to precise geometric angles for tight corner joints. The standard frame comes in natural pine wood with visible straight grain, while custom hardwood options include beech and oak. Four frame finishes—Natural Wood, Wooden Black, Wooden Dark Brown, and Wooden White—allow matching with existing trim or furniture. The outer bevel secures the moss layer flush against the perimeter to prevent edge shedding.

The clock face adapts to diverse interior palettes through eight moss color treatments and versatile dial markers. The numerals (12, 3, 6, 9) and intermediate circular dot indices are precision-cut and mounted securely into the structural substrate above the moss bedding. Select from contrasting white or black markers, or choose a clean marker-free configuration for a purist geometric look.
