Round Moss Wall Art Sun Duo

Biophilic Design with Preserved Botanical Elements

The Round Moss Wall Art Sun Duo incorporates preserved natural textures into a balanced circular composition. Two focal medallions showcase elevated Ball Moss (Cushion Moss or Pole Moss) centers framed by radiating lanceolate foliage to form geometric sunburst motifs. A dense bed of preserved Flat Moss (Sheet Moss) serves as the foundation, punctuated by secondary mounds of cushion moss and sweeping stems of real preserved eucalyptus leaves that add organic depth across the vertical plane.

Every botanical component undergoes an eco-friendly preservation process where plant sap is replaced with a biodegradable glycerin and mineral salt solution. This preservation method permanently arrests cellular decay without altering the organic texture, flexibility, or dimensional structure of the plants. The greenery does not require sunlight, soil, or irrigation to maintain its appearance over years of interior display.

Natural greenery creates calm focal points in corporate offices and private residences alike.

Technical Specifications and Frame Configurations

Constructed inside a circular frame, this moss piece is assembled by hand to ensure consistent density and structural stability. The frame profile measures 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) in depth, shielding the plant edges while providing a clean boundary against the wall surface. Select from multiple wood finishes and standardized diameters to accommodate different architectural scales.

Acoustic Damping and Environmental Requirements

Preserved moss displays notable acoustic attenuation properties. The porous, cellular volume of Ball Moss and layered Flat Moss traps incident sound waves, reducing speech reverberation and ambient echo in rooms with hard surface materials such as concrete, glass, or hardwood flooring. Installing dimensional moss panels directly mitigates flutter echo across modern meeting rooms, dining halls, and living areas.

Because the plants are fully preserved rather than living, ongoing maintenance remains straightforward. The foliage does not produce pollen, shed spores, or harbor insects, serving as an inert biological installation for interior environments.

• Humidity Range: Maintain standard indoor relative humidity between 40% and 60% to keep the moss soft and pliant.
• Moisture Exposure: Never water, mist, or spray the installation; external moisture damages preserved plant tissues.
• Sunlight Restrictions: Mount away from persistent direct sunlight and high-heat HVAC diffusers to avoid color fading or localized dehydration.
• Surface Cleaning: Clear dust accumulation every few months using a gentle dry duster or compressed air held at a distance of 12 inches (30 cm).
