Handcrafted Botanical Design with Integrated Illumination

This round illuminated moss wall art integrates preserved natural flora within a circular solid wood casing, accented by a perimeter light rim. The surface layout combines three distinct textures: a dense foundational layer of preserved dark green flat moss (sheet moss), raised clusters of rounded ball moss (cushion moss), and bordering arcs of textured reindeer moss (Iceland moss) in contrasting forest green and bright lime tones. Each element is arranged by hand to form an organic topographical landscape.

The internal perimeter houses continuous LED strip lighting that casts an inward graze across the botanical relief. This directional light emphasizes the natural three-dimensional depth and varying heights of the moss mounds. It provides ambient background lighting without producing excessive heat that could dry out the preserved botanical fibers.

No irrigation system or direct water source is required. The plants undergo a natural preservation process where cellular sap is replaced with an organic glycerin and mineral solution. This treatment maintains structural elasticity, tactile softness, and pigment stability across years of indoor display.

Technical Specifications and Available Dimensions

Each unit is manufactured to order according to specified diameter, electrical setup, and perimeter frame finish. The circular frame consists of precision-milled wood engineered to resist ambient warping.

Specification	Available Options
Diameter Range	19.6" (50 cm), 23.6" (60 cm), 31.4" (80 cm), 35.4" (90 cm), 39.3" (100 cm), 47.2" (120 cm), 51.2" (130 cm), 59.1" (150 cm)
Lighting Color Temperature	Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4000K), Cool White (6000K)
Power Supply	Mains power 110V direct plug-in or integrated rechargeable battery pack
Frame Finishes	Natural Wood, Wooden Black, Wooden Dark Brown, Wooden White
Botanical Composition	100% natural preserved ball moss, flat moss, and reindeer moss

The integrated lighting assembly operates via a clean power cable or the optional internal battery pack. An on-off remote control accompanies each piece for convenient wall-mounted operation.

Acoustic Performance, Placement, and Care

Preserved moss surfaces function as passive acoustic dampeners. The porous cellular composition of cushion and reindeer moss traps sound waves, reducing echo and ambient reverberation in interior spaces with hard flooring or glass surfaces. Sound absorption is most pronounced in high-frequency vocal and ambient office bands.

Preserved botanicals require zero maintenance routines. They must never be watered, misted, or exposed to fertilizer.

Relative Humidity: Maintain room levels between 40% and 60% to preserve natural tactile flexibility.
Light Exposure: Keep clear of direct sunlight to prevent ultraviolet pigment degradation over extended intervals.
Thermal Sources: Mount at least 4 feet away from active radiators, forced-air vents, and air conditioning units.
Surface Cleaning: Remove occasional dust accumulation using a cold-air blow dryer on its lowest velocity setting or an electrostatic feather duster.
Shipping Timeline: Free shipping within 10–30 business days.

During transit, ball moss components may experience mild superficial compression. If fiber displacement occurs upon unboxing, gently brush the moss mounds against the grain with a soft-bristled brush to restore full structural volume.
