Round Moss Wall Art Yin Yang

Handcrafted Round Moss Wall Art Yin Yang Design

The Round Moss Wall Art Yin Yang brings botanical texture and architectural balance into modern interior spaces. Hand-assembled using preserved Ball Moss (Cushion Moss or Pole Moss) and Provence Moss (Mood Moss), this piece maps the classic Taoist symbol of complementary forces through contrasting botanical shades. One side features light, spring green textures, while the opposing side incorporates deep forest green tufts, each dotted with an inverted color eye. The preserved moss retains its volume, tactile softness, and rich coloration over time without soil or sunlight.

Natural acoustics in open-concept living rooms, reception areas, and private offices benefit directly from the dimensional moss surface. The dense, three-dimensional tufts naturally break up sound waves, reducing ambient echo and reverberation. Encased in a solid circular wooden frame, each composition delivers a clean visual profile that mounts flush against drywall, concrete, or wood-paneled walls.

Botanical Composition and Structural Specifications

Every piece is fabricated using sustainably harvested forest elements treated with an environmentally safe glycerin-based preservation solution. This process halts biological growth while maintaining the structural flexibility of the moss fibers. Because the plants are preserved rather than living, they generate no spores, attract no pests, and produce no pollen, making them suitable for commercial and hypoallergenic domestic environments.

The circular frame is constructed from finished natural wood, engineered to support the weight of the moss substrate without warping. Available across a wide diameter spectrum from 11.8 inches (30 cm) up to 59.1 inches (150 cm), you can specify the precise proportions needed for narrow accent nooks or expansive conference room feature walls. Four distinct frame finishes ensure cohesion with existing millwork, furniture, and hardware.

Environmental Requirements and Care Guidelines

Preserved moss installations do not require automated irrigation systems, drainage lines, or specialized horticultural lighting. They function entirely as indoor architectural wall decor. To maintain optimal moss suppleness and guard against color shifting, position the frame away from direct ultraviolet sunlight and high-heat HVAC output registers.

Indoor relative humidity levels should remain within standard residential and office thresholds. If local ambient humidity drops below the recommended range during winter heating cycles, the moss may become slightly firm to the touch. It naturally regains its soft, cushioned structure once ambient moisture normalizes.

• Target Relative Humidity: Maintain ambient indoor humidity between 40% and 60%.
• Ambient Temperature: Keep indoor room temperatures within 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C).
• Direct Water Exposure: Do not spray, wipe with wet cloths, or water the moss elements.
• Light Exposure: Install solely indoors, away from unshaded south-facing windows and high-output heat lamps.
• Surface Cleaning: Occasional light dusting can be performed using an electric air duster on a low setting or a delicate feather duster.
