Moss Heart Wall Art Embrace of Nature

Botanical Design and Handcrafted Wood Construction

The Moss Heart Wall Art features genuine preserved reindeer moss (Iceland Moss) fitted precisely within a contour wooden silhouette. The frame portrays two stylized arms converging at the base to outline the form of a heart. Natural botanical textures contrast with the crisp geometry of the laser-cut boundary. Rather than standard square framing, the open framework exposes the wall surface behind the composition, creating distinct shadow lines across drywall, brick, or wood paneling.

Each base is cut from laminated veneer lumber engineered for structural rigidity and warp resistance in indoor spaces. The dense central heart showcases deep crimson lichen accented by soft pink florets and forest green sprigs along the upper rim. Preserved through an eco-friendly mineral salt and glycerin solution, the plant material maintains its tactile softness indefinitely without soil, sunlight, or hydration.

Acoustic Dampening and Technical Specifications

Dense lichen acts as a passive sound-absorbing panel in residential and commercial settings. The open, porous cellular structure of preserved reindeer moss traps airborne sound frequencies, reducing echo and reverberation in rooms with hard surface finishes. This natural dampening improves speech intelligibility in dining spaces, home offices, and corridors.

Mounting Guidelines and Long-Term Display Care

Installation requires no heavy wall anchors. The reverse side comes equipped with industrial double-sided adhesive mounting tape suitable for clean, non-porous walls. Standard picture nails or picture hanging strips can also support the lightweight wooden perimeter on rougher textures. Position the wall art away from continuous, direct afternoon sunlight to safeguard the natural mineral dyes against fading.

Preserved moss products are designed exclusively for interior climate control. Maintain indoor relative humidity between 40% and 70% to keep the plant texture pliable. If dry winter heating reduces humidity below 40%, the moss may feel firm; it regains its natural elasticity automatically once humidity returns to normal levels. Never spray water directly onto the piece.

• Preservation Treatment: Glycerin-based preservation permanently halts biological growth while retaining natural flexibility.
• Substrate Engineering: Multi-layer timber resists humidity fluctuations without warping or twisting.
• Hypoallergenic Foliage: Antistatic properties naturally prevent dust accumulation across the moss clusters.
