Handcrafted Round Moss Wall Art 3-Piece Set Specifications

This Round Moss Wall Art 3-Piece Set integrates preserved flat moss (sheet moss) and dimensional ball moss (cushion moss or pole moss) within circular solid wood frames. The botanical elements are harvested at peak maturity and preserved using an eco-friendly saline and glycerin solution. This fluid displacement technique retains the soft cellular structure and original texture of the moss indefinitely. No watering, pruning, or misting is ever needed.

The visual arrangement pairs a dark, uniform flat moss ground with elevated mounds of lighter green ball moss. The contrast creates an organic topographic display across three staggered frames. Sound waves dissipate across the varied fibrous surfaces, providing natural ambient acoustic absorption in rooms with hard surfaces. Each circular frame comes with pre-mounted hanging hardware on the reverse side for secure wall placement.

Maintenance Requirements and Environmental Tolerances

Preserved vegetation behaves differently than living indoor plants. The preserved moss does not photosynthesize and requires zero exposure to natural sunlight or specialized grow lamps. Prolonged direct ultraviolet exposure can cause pigmentation fading over time. Position the circular frames away from unfiltered windows.

Indoor climate controls dictate longevity. Maintain ambient relative humidity between 40% and 70% to prevent the moss fibers from drying out. Avoid proximity to active heat sources, wood stoves, heating vents, and air conditioners. Under these standard indoor conditions, the moss retains its texture and green color for 7 to 10 years without intervention.

Dimensional Configurations and Technical Details

This three-piece collection is manufactured in several graduated diameter combinations to fit compact entryways, conference rooms, or expansive living room accent walls. Select from four distinct frame finishes to match existing architectural millwork and wood tones.
